JOB DESCRIPTION
Operator C
Job Summary:
The position of Operator C consists of operating heavy equipment machinery on designated jobs. The Operator C ensures project timelines are being met and that all equipment and vehicles are being maintained to company standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that every job in progress is a priority and is completed within the expected/projected timeframe;
- Confer with assigned Superintendent to coordinate operations and activities within or between designated regions;
- Ensure jobsite and company safety protocol is being met;
- At your Superintendent’s discretion, handle any and all jobsite issues that may arise;
- Daily understanding of where all flagged/marked lines are located;
- Identify any obstacles in the digging path;
- Inspect machine daily for cleanliness, any issues, etc.;
- Provide required maintenance to your machine and truck at the end of every work day;
- Fuel your machine and truck and the end of every work day;
- Interpret specifications, job orders, and company policies;
- Complete timesheets/daily logs timely and accurately;
- Obtain customer representative’s signature for your Daily Log Sheet;
- Report any and all machine/equipment issues on a timely basis;
- Make sure you have what you need to perform your daily duties;
- Submit daily footage to Supervisor every evening;
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating Trenching and/or Heavy Equipment
- A high school diploma or equivalent;
- A current and valid Driver’s License

- This is a full time position that is primarily remote field based with a variable work schedule.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Swamper A
Job Summary:
The position of Swamper A consists of assisting the Operator as needed. The Swamper A works with the Operator to ensure that the assigned project timelines are being met and that all equipment and vehicles are being maintained to Company standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that every job in progress is a priority and is completed within the expected/projected timeframe;
- Confer with assigned Superintendent and Operator to coordinate operations and activities;
- Ensure jobsite and company safety protocol is being met;
- Daily understanding of where all flagged/marked lines are located;
- Ensure that all lines a spotted and properly flagged;
- Responsible for checking ditch depth as directed;
- Pulls running lines;
- Identify and notify Operator of any obstacles in the Operator’s digging path;
- Inspect machine daily for cleanliness, any issues, etc.
- Assist with required maintenance to machines and trucks at the end of every work day;
- Assist with fueling machines and trucks and the end of every work day;
- Interpret specifications, job orders, and company policies;
- Complete timesheets/daily logs timely and accurately;
- Make sure you have what you need to perform your daily duties;
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the trenching industry;
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred;
- A current and valid Driver’s License
